Jaaved Jaaferi talks about social media trolling, says 'sometimes it gets personal' | Exclusive

During an interview with IndiaToday.in, Jaaved Jaaferi opened up about social media trolling. The actor revealed how he deals with it.
Jaaved Jaaferi has been entertaining the audience with his films for over three decades now. He is not just a fantastic actor, but is also known for his good commentary skills on Takeshi's Castle. He has played a wide variety of characters throughout his career. And now, he is gearing up for his web show Escaype Live's release. Ahead of it's release, IndiaToday.in exclusively interacted with the actor. In a conversation with us, he spoke about social media trolling.
When asked about how he deals with the negative criticism and trolling on social media, Jaaved Jaaferi said, "Being a sensitive person and artist (they tend to be sensitive), it does bother you. Sometimes I just switch off and I just don't want to be there around the negativity and hate."
The actor further added, "But it's about processing, being an actor and you are doing other things which require you to be so involved with the character you're playing. So it is very difficult to maintain that calm and composure while you're doing so many other things. Sometimes it becomes personal."
On the work front, Jaaved Jaaferi will be seen in Escaype Live with Siddharth and Waluscha De Sousa. The web series is scheduled for release on May 20, 2022.
