
J&K Police releases videos of Geelani's last rites, says family resorted to 'anti-national activities'

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday released videos of the last rites of separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and said that his family members resorted to anti-national activities "probably under pressure from Pakistan and miscreants".

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
