The popular stunt-based reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi, is coming back with its 12th season now, and we can't keep calm. In an exciting update, Lock Upp's Saisha Shinde has confirmed one of the names for the contestant of the show. It is none other than Lock Upp winner, Munawar Faruqui. For a while now, there have been rumours doing the rounds of the comedian entering KKK 12. However, when we independently reached out to the makers, they denied his participation on the show yet.

After winning Lock Upp Season 1, there have been speculation about Munawar Faruqui joining KKK 12. However, there have been no official confirmation on the same. His Lock Upp co-contestant Saisha Shinde recently opened up in a media interaction and that Munawar will be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. Saisha confirmed that Munawar will be a contestant on the show, and that's the reason she decided not to do it.

Saisha said, "Khatron Ke Khiladi mujhe karna hai, lekin jaise maine kaha ki Munawar kar raha hai yeh season. Toh main yeh season pakka nahi karungi." She further explained her reason behind refusing the show, "Log bolenge ki aa gayi peeche-peeche Munawar ke. Aur agar main waha jaungi toh bhi ussi ko jeetanugi... toh kya fayda."

According to reports, Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 contestants will jet off to South Africa along with their host Rohit Shetty in the last week of May. The show is reportedly at its pre-production stage. The makers have an interesting line-up of celebrity contestants for the show, which includes the who's who of telly town.
