Is Jayeshbhai Jordaar Ranveer Singh's lowest opening?
India Today
Jayeshbhai Jordaar collected Rs 3.25 crore on its opening day at the box office, which is the lowest for the actor in recent times. The film released in cinemas on May 13.
Ranveer Singh's latest film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, released in theatres on May 13. The film collected Rs 3.25 crore on its opening day, which is quite a disappointing number. Much to everyone's shock, Jayeshbhai has registered the lowest-ever box office opening for a Ranver Singh-starrer.
Yash's The KGF: Chapter 2 storm is still blowing over Bollywood and is going all guns blazing. Rocky might not like violence, but the box office numbers certainly like him. The Telugu hit has affected the business of Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Unfortunately, Ranveer Singh's previous film, 83, also got affected due to another Telugu film, Pushpa: The Rise. Earlier, it was the Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa: The Rise that affected 83's box office collection and this time Ranveer has been swept away by Yash the Rocking Star.
Jayeshbhai Jordaar had a poor start at the box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film's first-day earnings and wrote, "#JayeshbhaiJordaar has a shockingly low start on Day 1... Day 2 and 3 very crucial... Fri 3.25 cr. #India biz (sic)."

Jayeshbhai JordaarJayeshbhai Jordaar, which was released on May 13, has turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments of Ranveer Singh's career, at least if we go by the opening day box office numbers. Ranveer's previous release, 83, grossed Rs 12.64 crore. The film might not have raked in moolah at the box office, but it received a positive response. The Christmas holidays might have also worked in the film's favour. The Kabir Khan directorial venture released on December 24, 2021.
#83TheFilm is underwhelming on Day 1 Excellent at premium multiplexes, ordinary in Tier-2 cities, dull in mass pockets #Christmas holiday should ensure jump in biz #PVR, #INOX, #Cinepolis [Day 2] already showing *big gains* Fri 12.64 cr. #India biz. ALL VERSIONS. pic.twitter.com/S0Iq7bhVUw
