Interpol issues Red Corner notices against Iqbal Mirchi’s wife, sons

The notices were issued against Iqbal Mirchi's wife Hajra and their two sons days after a Mumbai court declared the three fugitive economic offenders and ordered the seizure of their properties.
The International Criminal Police Organisation or Interpol has issued Red Corner notices against gangster Iqbal Mirchi’s wife and their two sons. Interpol has issued notices against the late gangster’s wife Hajra Iqbal and sons Junaid Iqbal Memon and Asif Iqbal Memon. The three are believed to be living in the UK and are likely to be arrested soon. Mirchi was a known associate of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. Iqbal Mirchi begun his illegal activities way back in 1970 by stealing goods from the Mumbai Dockyard and selling them in local markets. He later got into smuggling and the drugs business became his mainstay. He is said to have died in 2013 in the United Kingdom.More Related News
