Industry never suffered due to politics in Tamil Nadu: N Srinivasan

Noted industrialist N Srinivasan on Friday said industrial growth in poll-bound Tamil Nadu has never suffered due to politics. His comment came during a session of the India Today Conclave South 2021. Srinivasan, who is the managing director of India Cements, said Tamil Nadu is the only Indian state which houses all types of industries — be it information technology, construction, raw materials or automobiles. “Tamil Nadu has every industry you can name,” he said. N Srinivasan praised Tamil Nadu's “outstanding” industrial climate and said it is the reason behind the high rate of investments in the southern state.
