Industries in Gurugram are feeling the effect of the electricity cuts after power shortages were reported both during the day and night in the Gurugram cyber city. Electricity is reportedly being cut for more than 10 hours.

Reportedly, the power shortages have made it difficult to work in industries as long power cuts are taking day and night. The electricity department has also released the timetable for power cuts.

Due to the undeclared power cuts across the state, people are facing a lot of trouble and, in the meantime, the industry is also facing a setback.

In Gurugram, the department has issued a time table of 8 hours cut inside the industrial areas and 6 and a half hours cut in rural and urban areas. However, the more power cuts are exceeding the time period mentioned in the timetables.

According to Manoj Yadav, an industrialist in Gurugram, the shortage of electricity is resulting in the industry incurring additional expenditure of several lakh rupees every day.

“So, the same people also keep sweating in the midst of a lot of trouble. On one side, the heat and, on the other side, the unannounced cut of electricity. Common people do not know when electricity will come and when it will go away. There is uproar all around,” said Manoj.
