India records 2.5k new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours

The number of deaths increased to 5,15,877 with 27 fresh fatalities according to latest data.

India on Monday reported 2,503 new cases of Covid-19 and 27 deaths over the previous 24 hours. This brought the total number of cases in the country to 4,29,93,494. The total reported fatalities due to Covid-19 now stands at 5,15,877.

The number of active cases stands at 36,168 after 4,377 patients were discharged. The total number of vaccinations is recorded as 1,80,19,45,779.
