Include Muslims below poverty line under Dalit Bandhu scheme in Telangana: Owaisi

AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi demanded inclusion of the Muslims living in Telangana below the poverty line into the TRS government's flagship Dalit Bandhu scheme which provides Rs 10 lakh to each Dalit families in the state to empower them economically and socially.

"CM Telangana recently started the revolutionary Dalit Bandhu scheme. It's country's largest cash transfer program. And visionary step by Telangana CM KCR. We welcome the scheme and demand that TRS govt take similar affirmative action for the Muslims," Owaisi said.
