IIT Roorkee ties up with ISRO for World Space Week 2021 to celebrate women in space

IIT Roorkee has joined hands with ISRO to commemorate World Space Week 2021 in order to celebrate women in space.

IIT Roorkee is collaborating with ISRO to launch an online lecture series to commemorate World Space Week 2021. This is the fourth consecutive year that the institute is celebrating this week, from October 4 to October 10, honouring the accomplishments and contributions of thousands towards the field of science, technology and space.

The theme of this year WSW is 'Women in Space'. IIT Roorkee is hosting a series of lectures from October 6 to 9 which will be delivered by eminent women scientists.
