IIT Guwahati has organized health awareness and a free medical camp along with National Medicos Organization (NMO) and Seva Bharati, Purbanchal.
Health awareness and a free medical camp were organized at IIT Guwahati, by National Medicos Organization (NMO) and Seva Bharati, Purbanchal, in association with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, IIT Guwahati, on July 9, 2021.The health camp was attended by about 200 contractual outsourced support staff, domestic helpers, small shop staff, etc. Chairperson, Assam state commission for child rights, Dr. Sunita Changkakati, said, ‘It is very essential to observe Covid SOP, and vaccinate citizens, to reduce the impact of Covid and prevent future spread of this pandemic’.Prof. TG Sitharam, Director, IIT Guwahati was elated by this free medical camp and mentioned that ‘Pandemic has brought back the age-old Indian hygienic tradition of Namaste instead of handshake’.More Related News
