Nature never fails to amaze and we get to see examples of that from time-to-time. Well, now, we have one more instance of nature’s glory and it was shared by IFS officer Ramesh Pandey. The officer shared a picture of a leaf and flowers of a tree known as the Kanak Champa and it has wowed netizens online.
The picture features the flowers and a huge leaf from the Kanak Champa tree. The vibrant yellow flowers resembled a peeled banana and the leaf was the size of an average dinner plate. Ramesh Pandey informed that it is called the dinner plate tree as well.
“Peeled-banana look-alike flowers and dinner-plate sized leaves are popular features of Kanak Champa, a native tree to the land. Many call it ‘dinner plate tree’ because of its large pinnate leaves. Both dried leaves and flowers are falling from the trees these days,” reads the caption of the post.
