S.R. Praveen wins media award for best print reporting at IFFK; festival showcases 177 films from 68 countries.
S.R. Praveen, Principal Correspondent at The Hindu’s Thiruvananthapuram bureau, has won the media award for best print reporting of the 29th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). Minister for Cultural Affairs Saji Cherian presented the award at the closing ceremony of the week-long festival here on Friday (December 20, 2024). Over the past one week, a total of 177 films from 68 countries were screened at the festival, which was attended by more than 13,000 delegates. The closing ceremony of the festival was followed by the screening of the Brazilian film Malu, which won the Golden Crow Pheasant award.
