Gauri Khan has a film title for her love story with Shah Rukh Khan! The celebrity producer-designer will grace the Koffee Couch with Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey in the upcoming episode.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s love story is as filmy as the couple. They had their own share of ups and downs and now, are called the ‘power couple’ of the industry. While SRK is the King in his line of work, his wife has successfully created a name for herself in the world of interior designing and production. Also seen on The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives Season 2, Gauri, along with her friends Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey will grace the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 7. When asked about one film titled she would want to give to her love story with Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri had the most perfect reply!
Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s relationship has not just stood the test of time but is only getting deeper with time. Gauri was already making headlines for her on-and-off appearances on The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives Season 2 with Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kapoor and Seema Sajdeh. And now, she will grace the Koffee Couch with her peers, Maheep and Bhavana. During a question and answer session, host Karan Johar asked Gauri which film title she would like to give to her love story with husband Shah Rukh Khan. And she replied, “I think Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. I love that film.”
Karan added to it by saying, “And yours was quite a turbulent love story”. To this, Gauri replied, “It was.”
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s love story is a sheer inspiration to many. In an interview with David Letterman on Netflix, SRK shared his love story. He had said, “When I landed in Mumbai, I started looking for her on beaches. I asked an auto driver to take me to as many beaches as he can with the mere Rs 400 I had in my pocket and then drop me after the meter strikes 400." He explored a couple of Mumbai beaches and finally heard Gauri's voice. She asked him, "What are you doing here?" And that was the beginning of their fairytale.
SRK and Gauri got married on October 25, 1991 and are parents to three children - Aryan, Suhana and AbRam.
