Hyderabad authority demolishes 23 illegal structures in special drive

Action was taken against four illegal structures in Shankarpalli municipality, three each in Dundigal and Badangpet municipalities, two in Pocharam municipality and one in Boduppal municipality.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and the District Task Force have demolished 23 illegally constructed buildings in the city.

The drive was taken up in Shankarpalli, Badangpet, Dundigal, Boduppal and Pocharam municipalities. A total of 23 illegal structures were taken down in two days. The town planning staff will be asked to explain why the illegal structures have not been identified in advance.
