Doha: Even as modern technology continues to advance rapidly, the value of human resources does not diminish, said MLA Najeeb Kanthapuram. He was delivering the keynote address at the valedictory session of the 20th anniversary celebrations of Focus International, Qatar Region, a leading youth organisation.

He stated that despite the agricultural revolution, the industrial revolution, and the computer revolution, the importance of human resources has never declined, and the same will hold true in the modern era of the AI revolution. Human resources remain essential for expressing empathy, humanity, compassion, and other emotional human qualities. 

He added that the advent of Artificial Intelligence will not lead to a loss of jobs for humans; rather, it will increase opportunities for educated and skilled individuals.

He noted that the global order is changing on a daily basis, and in this fast-paced era, the new generation must be equipped to learn and adapt to emerging technological advancements.

He urged that youth should be prepared to become part of solutions rather than merely lining up behind problems. Students, parents, and education experts must take the lead in identifying and embracing new opportunities in the evolving world, he said.
