A huge quantity of banned marijuana was seized in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha on Friday.
One person was arrested after a huge quantity of banned marijuana was seized in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha on Friday. The accused was identified as Sarat Kumar Naik. Sarat Kumar Naik (45) reportedly kept a huge quantity of cannabis at his house in Kayankhunta village that falls under the Kaptipada Police Station area. A special squad was formed by Eastern range IG Diptesh Pattnaik and Mayurbhanj Police SP Smit Parmar to verify the veracity of the information.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
