Beyoncé is among the few musicians and artists to reach billionaire status, building a fortune largely through her music career while also continuing to invest in philanthropic efforts.
The Grammy-winning singer recently joined the billionaires club following the success of her 2023 Renaissance World Tour, which grossed nearly $600 million, and her record-breaking "Cowboy Carter" era, according to Forbes.
She became one of only a handful of musicians to reach the billionaire benchmark. Only four other recording artists have reached this milestone, including Beyoncé's husband Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Bruce Springsteen.
Forbes confirmed the singer's self-made fortune is mainly from her music.
"The majority of pop star Beyoncé Knowles' net worth comes from her roughly three decades as a solo performer and a member of the girl-group Destiny's Child," Forbes reported, noting that she "amassed an estimated $1 billion fortune from years of music sales, touring and collecting art with her already-billionaire husband Jay-Z."
