Held on sedition charge, YSR Congress Party MP alleges assault by Andhra Pradesh CID

Arrested on charges of sedition reportedly after he criticised the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YSR Congress Party MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju alleged that he was assaulted by officials of the state CID.

The court remanded him to 14 days in judicial custody.
