
Heatwave conditions likely to return in Northwest India

From Saturday, there will be a gradual rise in temperatures in Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi and parts of Uttar Pradesh. The maximum temperature is likely to be in the 43-45 degree range.
After a few days of respite, heatwave conditions are likely to return once again in Northwest India. This was reported by the Indian Meteorological Department through a press release issued on April 14.
From Saturday, April 16, onwards, there will be a gradual rise in temperatures for Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi and parts of Uttar Pradesh.
Temperatures are likely to go up by 2-4°C in the next few days. The maximum temperature is likely to be in the 43-45°C range in most of the areas by early next week and to peak by the middle of the week.
Dust storms are likely in Rajasthan and adjoining areas.
