HC directs Delhi govt to frame policy, pay rents of labourers as 'promised' by CM Kejriwal

Delhi High Court has asked the Delhi government to fulfil its promise and pay the rents of poor labourers, who could not pay their landlords. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has promised to help them out in March 2020. 

The Delhi High Court has asked the Delhi government to frame a policy to pay rents of labourers during the Covid lockdown, as promised by CM Arvind Kejriwal in March 2020. HC said CM asked landlords not to charge rent during lockdown and promised that the government would pay rents during lockdown.
