
Have patience: CM Bhagwant Mann to 'Punjabis' as oppn targets him over unfulfilled poll promises

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann asked the people of the state to have patience as opposition parties targeted the CM for unfulfilled promises.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in a Facebook post asked the people of Punjab to remain patient till the state government fulfills the poll promises. He has sought some time.
"Dear Punjabis, give some time. Have patience. I have everything on my tips. Let us not be in a hurry to make the Punjab a prosperous state. It will require some time. All issues will be solved. Everyone will be heard," Bhagwant Mann said.
The opposition Congress, BJP and Akali Dal have targeted the AAP government for having failed to fulfill the poll promises, 300 free power units in particular and Rs 1,000 per month for every adult woman.

AAP national convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, while announcing his first guarantee on June 29, 2021 had announced that the guarantee to provide 300 free power units will be honoured immediately after the government is formed.
Now, the AAP leadership has assured that the decision to this effect will be announced after the first budget is presented in the month of June.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
