A shocking murder in Faridabad was disguised as a railway accident for weeks before the truth surfaced. The victim's wife and her lover were arrested for bludgeoning him to death and attempting to hide the crime.
A chilling murder, masked for weeks as a railway accident, has come to light in Haryana’s Faridabad, where a woman and her lover allegedly bludgeoned her husband to death, crushed his face to conceal his identity and dumped his body on railway tracks, police said.
The crime, committed on November 30, 2025, surfaced after nearly two months of investigation, leading to the arrest of the victim’s wife and her alleged partner.
The mutilated body of Suman, an auto-rickshaw driver from Godda district in Jharkhand, was found on a railway track in the Mewala Maharajpur area on December 1, 2025.
With his face severely crushed, police initially believed he had been run over by a train. His identity remained unknown for several days, and the case was treated as an accidental death.
The case took a turn on January 18, when Suman’s brother, Sunny, lodged a missing person complaint at Surajkund police station.
An FIR was registered, and during the investigation, police matched the preserved body at the post-mortem house with the missing person’s details. The body was eventually identified through clothing and physical features.
