Gujarat Congress president, Jagdish Thakor said on Thursday that Hardik Patel wrote his resignation letter at BJP's Gujarat state office.
Gujarat Congress president Jagdish Thakor on Thursday said that Hardik Patel wrote his resignation letter at the BJP Gujarat state office in Gandhinagar. This comes a day after Hardil Patel resigned from the Congress party.
Thakor said Congress party members tried to have a conversation with Hardik Patel but he had made up his mind to defame the party.
Jagdish Thakor said, "Hardik Patel said that he was not given work and involved in party decisions. However, he was given such a big post at such a young age and he was also involved in all the decisions the party made.” He added that he would call Hardik Patel requesting him to stop giving statements that have a negative impact on the party.

He wanted to toy with the Congress and defame the party by giving media statements.”Thakor also spoke on the topic of Hardik Patel not attending the Congress party’s Chintan Shivir in Udaipur. “He did not attend the Chintan Shivir. I called him twice but he cut my calls. Then I told him that he must stop giving statements to the media or else the party will take disciplinary actions against him. So I think this is the reason why he gave his resignation letter before the party could take any action against him. Otherwise, Hardik Patel might have toyed with the Congress party for a long time,” he added.Thakor said the things mentioned in his resignation letter “clearly show that it was written at Kamalam.” Kamalam is the BJP’s Gujarat state head office in Gandhinagar.
