UPSC Civil Services Examination Rank 3 holder Gamini Singla explains how hard work, strategy, and family support helped her clear the prestigious examination.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the UPSC Civil Services Examination result 2021. The commission also released a list of selected candidates, from which Gamini Singla, from the Naina Devi Subdivision of Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur, bagged the third rank. Both of Gamini Singla’s parents are doctors who work at Primary Health Center Toba and Tarsuh of Naina Devi sub-division.
Speaking to the India Today Group, Gamini Singla said, “I am feeling very good, very satisfied. I am very happy that God blessed me with this. I have been able to reach here only because of Ma Naina Devi’s blessings.”
“I want to thank God first of all and then my entire family,” the UPSC Rank 3 holder added.
UPSC Rank 3 holder Gamini Singla went on to thank her family by saying, “My family supported me in every aspect, emotionally, and also in terms of studies.”
“My father used to completely help with my studies. He used to read newspapers and mark the important points, so my time would be saved,” the UPSC topper India Today.
“My father even read the books of Static with me so that he could suggest, guide and discuss with me,” she added.
“My mother and brother used to support me both morally and emotionally,” Gamini Singla added.
