Gurugram: Mutilated body parts of man found on railway tracks near Bajghera

The mutilated body parts of a man who was hit by a train were found spread over two kilometres on the railway tracks near Bajghera. The man reportedly met with the accident on Wednesday night.
In a tragic incident, a man was hit by a train on Wednesday night in Gurugram. The police began the investigation after a chopped hand was spotted on the Bajghera flyover in Gurugram.
That led them to the mutilated body parts of an unidentified person, spread over two kilometres on the railway tracks.
As per the report by the Hindustan Times (HT), the police suspect that the deceased was hit and dragged by a train and added that his body possibly got stuck beneath the wagons.
SHO Rampal said that after recovering the chopped hands, "GRP personnel were informed by the district police who said that a person was probably run over by a train on the railway tracks passing below the flyover."
During the search operation, mutilated body parts from the railway tracks below the Bajghera flyover were found.
As per the report by the Times of India (TOI), the railway officials are not aware of the exact time of the incident nor do they know by which train the man was hit.
Usually, the driver of the train informs the GRP and submits a report when something like this happens. The police are yet to identify the deceased.
