
Gurugram: Man due for Covaxin second dose administered Covishield instead

A man, who was due for the second dose of Covaxin, was administered Covishield instead at a vaccination centre in Gurugram. He was monitored by the doctors for an hour and was allowed to go after his vitals remained normal.
After a major incident of vaccine mixing in Uttar Pradesh’s Siddharthnagar district, where 20 people were administered two different doses of Covid vaccines, another incident of vaccine mixing took place in Gurugram. When Harteerath went to get the second shot of Covaxin at the Gurugram government centre on Wednesday, he was administered a second dose of Covishield.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
