Groom arrested for having over 100 people at reception, he says not sure where they came from

A groom was arrested by the Jalandhar police from his reception party for violating the Covid-19 protocol by having over 100 people at the function.

A groom was on Saturday night arrested from his wedding party in Punjab’s Jalandhar for violating the Covid-19 protocol during the weekend lockdown. The Jalandhar police arrested the groom and his father from the reception party after they found over 100 people at the function being held at a temple in Jalandhar. While the groom and his father were taken into custody from the reception venue, several guests fled the party after seeing the cops.
