Chennai Police Commissioner holds grievance redressal camp for officers, addresses pay anomalies, housing, and transfer issues.
Greater Chennai City Police Commissioner A. Arun on Tuesday held a grievance redressal camp for police personnel and directly received petitions from them.
At the camp held in his office, Mr. Arun received petitions from 77 police personnel/ officers who are from law and order, crime and traffic, Armed Reserve and special units. They presented petitions on their grievances relating to removal of pay anomalies, commutation of punishment, allotment of houses and transfers. The Commissioner heard their grievances patiently and ordered the officers concerned to take quick action on their complaints.
Additional Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Vijayendra Bidari, Deputy Commissioner (Administration) G.Subbulakshmi and other officers attended the camp.

The design team at The Indian Twist works on the spontaneous artworks by children and young adults from A Brush With Art (@abwa_chennai) and CanBridge Academy (thecanbridgeacademy), “kneading” them into its products, thereby transforming these artworks into a state of saleability. CanBridge Academy provides life skill training to young adults with autism. And ABWA promotes “expression of natural art in children with special needs”.
