Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar inaugurated a two-day national seminar on ‘Recent Developments in India’s Neighbourhood: Aspects and Implications’ organised by the Institute for the Study of Developing Areas (ISDA) in association with the Centre for Defence and Security Studies, Central University of Kerala, here on Thursday (February 13).
A press release said Mr. Arlekar touched upon several key themes in his address, including the importance of discussing the agendas of neighbouring countries, the historical context of India’s non-alignment strategy, and the shift in India’s foreign policy.
The Governor called for cooperation from other countries and emphasised the need for a correct and proper reaction to global events.
