Over 30 cows were charred to death after a massive fire broke out in the slums located near cowsheds in the Kanawani village of Ghaziabad on Monday afternoon.
A massive fire broke out in the slums of Kanawani village of Ghaziabad on Monday afternoon and in no time, it spread to the cowsheds in the nearby area where about 70 cows were present.
According to reports, around 30 to 40 cows were charred to death in the fire accident.
While no human casualties have been reported, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
