Gehlot, Pilot factions continue fighting over phone tapping allegation in Rajasthan

After a Sachin Pilot loyalist claimed that their phones were being tapped, Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, a cabinet minister in the Rajasthan Government who is considered close to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, said there was no substance to the allegation.
The political tussle within the Rajasthan Congress has further intensified over phone tapping allegations as Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's camp has hit back after Sachin Pilot loyalist MLA Ved Prakash Solanki claimed that their phones were being tapped. The Gehlot camp lashed out against snooping talk doing the rounds in political circles. Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, a cabinet minister in the Rajasthan Government, who is considered close to Chief Minister Gehlot, claimed there was no substance to the allegation, maintaining that there was no such thing as phone tapping in Rajasthan. "It is wrong to say that we tapped anyone's phone. Phone tapping kind of thing does not happen in Rajasthan," Khachariyawas mentioned to India Today.More Related News
