Billionaire Gautam Adani met former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in Matoshree on Wednesday, creating buzz amid a changed political scenario in the state. Thackeray has lost his party colleague to Eknath Shinde's rebel camp that formed the government in the state with the BJP's support.
The Gautam Adani-Uddhav Thackeray meeting lasted for one hour, raising eyebrows.
Recently, Adani Group's chairperson, Gautam Adani surpassed Amazon's Jeff Bezos to become the world's second richest man. Adani's net worth is estimated to be around $155.7 billion up by $5.5 billion, according to Forbes real-time Billionaires list.

The Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, which comprised the Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party(NCP) and Congress, collapsed in June this year after a revolt led by Eknath Shinde against the Sena leadership.
Eknath Shinde was later sworn in as the chief minister with BJP's Devendra Fadnavis as his deputy.
