Despite competition from The Kashmir Files, The Batman and Radhe Shyam, Gangubai Kathiawadi is doing great at the box office. The film entered the Rs 100 crore club last week, and on by the end of the third week, the film has managed to earn Rs 108 crore. The Alia Bhatt-starrer was released on February 25.
According to a report by Box Office India, Gangubai Kathiawadi has earned Rs 108 crore in its three-week run. The box office collection of Gangubai Kathiawadi is slowly beating Sooryavanshi. While Sooryavanshi collected 3.75 crore nett on day fifteen, Gangubai managed to collect Rs 4.25 crore nett.
Alia celebrated the Rs 100 crore club milestone by having a vegan burger.

Besides Alia Bhatt, Gangubai Kathiawadi also stars Ajay Devgn, Parth Samthaan, Shantanu Maheshwari and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles. The story is about a woman, Ganga, who travels from Gujarat to Mumbai with her partner, but gets sold off and pushed into prostitution. She then becomes a madame named Gangubai in the redlight area of Kamathipura. The film follows her rise to power and fighting one challenge after another.
