Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi has set the cash registers ringing. The film has been doing well, even two weeks after release. Even though it faced stiff competition from Jhund and The Batman, Alia is going strong.
The box office update was shared by Bhansali Productions' Instagram page. The film has collected Rs 102 crore at the Indian box office.
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi is a biographical drama, based on Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Ajay Devgn, Parth Samthaan, Seema Pahwa and Shantanu Maheshwari have been roped in to play crucial roles in the film. Jayantilal Gada bankrolled the crime drama.
