Future wars will involve low technology which is easy to obtain but difficult to defeat: Army Chief Gen Naravane

Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane also put emphasis on how the induction of modern technologies needs to be seen in the context of the country's borders.

Addressing a webinar on July 1, Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane has said, “Considering the peculiarities of India’s borders and mandate to ensure territorial integrity, the country needs to adopt and mix and match options of evolving into a technology-oriented army and at the same time retaining boots on the ground as an operational imperative.” Speaking on the importance of artificial intelligence and big data analytics he sounded a word of caution on the challenges ahead.
