Frankie Muniz is reprising the role of Malcolm in revival series \
Frankie Muniz isn't ready to leave "Malcolm in the Middle" behind, not yet.
In a March 12 trailer for "Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair," fans saw Muniz, 40, reprise the role of Malcolm almost two decades after the last episode of the sitcom aired on Fox.
The four-episode revival series premieres April 10 and follows a more "mature" Malcolm, alongside his daughter and girlfriend, as they navigate difficult family ties.
"Yeah, I look different. But, hey, everything about me is different," Muniz says in the trailer. "I have a girlfriend. And the best thing in the whole world, my daughter Leah. My life is fantastic now. All I have to do is stay completely away from my family."
Malcolm, who has successfully shielded himself and his daughter from his family for over a decade, is forced "back into their orbit" when his parents demand he attend their 40th anniversary party.
