Several people have been admitted to the hospital after drinking poisonous alcohol.
Top police officials, including Inspector General (IG), Superintendent of Police (SP), among others have reached the spot.
Although an official announcement is yet to be made regarding the death toll and those in serious condition, sources said that four people have already lost their lives.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to investigate Botad's hooch tragedy. The team will investigate the case from different angles.
One team is already looking out for the bootleggers who supplied the poisonous alcohol to people.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
