Kim Kardashian wore a decade-old dress for her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s grand wedding in Italy. Yes, you read that right. The television reality star and entrepreneur took to Instagram to reveal that she repeated a black Dolce & Gabbana dress that she purchased in 2011. However, she wore the dress with a twist this time.
Kourtney and Travis Barker tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in Portofino, Italy earlier this month. For the occasion, Kim rocked a gothic look and opted for a black gown with lace details. However, it turns out that it was not one but two old dresses that she wore. In a series of Instagram stories, Kim spilled all the details about her outfit for Kourtney’s wedding.
“So when I knew I was going to Italy (Love a theme for a trip), I pulled all my Dolce & Gabbana clothes to try on again and see if I could re-wear anything,” she wrote.
She revealed that the dress she wore to the wedding was purchased in 2011 and she rocked it for the Glamour Awards that year. She also shared a picture of herself from the event.
“The dress I wore to the wedding was a Dolce & Gabbana purchased at Bergdorf Goodman in 2011 and wore it to the Glamour Awards,” she added.
However, Kim gave a stylish spin to the dress for the wedding. She layered the full-length strapless gown with a sheer lace black mini dress. “But to make the dress modern and more me, I wore this lace gloved Veterments dress I had in my closet for a layered lace look,” she further said.
