First lady Melania Trump, a former fashion model, strutted into a White House summit alongside a humanoid robot.
Melania Trump was joined by a humanoid robot at a White House event on Wednesday instead of her typical arm candy, President Donald Trump.
The first lady, wearing a white pantsuit and matching heels, strutted alongside the humanoid named Figure3 before hosting a roundtable discussion on the second day of the inaugural Fostering the Future Together Global Coalition Summit on March 25. The event featured first spouses from 45 other countries as well as Trump herself.
The appearance also comes the same day her husband appointed 13 tech experts − including Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Oracle executive chairman Larry Ellison, CEO of Nvidia Jensen Huang, Google co-founder Sergey Brin and Dell founder Michael Dell − to the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, the White House announced March 25.

Tech innovation has been a major focus of the second Trump administration. In September, Trump hosted a White House event focused on her AI education initiative, where she said "the robots are here," adding that "our future is no longer science fiction."
