What did Iran give Trump? He called the gift a 'very nice thing'

President Donald Trump has touted progress in talks with Iran, and even said Iran sent a gift to the U.S. But Iran rejected the 15-point peace plan.
President Donald Trump said on March 24 Iran gave the U.S. a gift after more than three weeks of escalating war with the country.
At the swearing-in for the new Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin, Trump was asked by a reporter why he says he talks to Iran if he doesn't trust them.
"They're gonna make a deal. They did something yesterday that was amazing, actually. They gave us a present, and the present arrived today, and it was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money," Trump said.
Last week, Trump said there was no one left in Iran to negotiate with. But after issuing an ultimatum to urge Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, Trump delayed his deadline, citing "very good and productive conversations" between the countries. Iran has repeatedly denied these talks took place.
