Where are 'No Kings' protests in SoCal? Anti-Trump events to sweep US
USA TODAY
The anti-Trump administration protests start at varying times this weekend. Organizers say more than 3,000 events are planned nationwide.
Anti-Trump administration protests are coming to Southern California as part of sweeping, nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations planned for Saturday, March 28.
Organizers anticipate it’ll be “one of the largest single-day nonviolent nationwide protests in U.S. history,” with more than 3,000 events already planned on March 28, according to organizers. In Southern California, dozens of demonstrations are planned in Los Angeles County alone.
Los Angeles saw protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in January, and a protest earlier this month opposing any U.S. conflict with Iran.
Here’s what to know ahead of the protests on March 28.
In June 2025, scores of Californians took part in “No Kings Day” protests planned the same day as the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary celebration — a pricey parade that also fell on the president’s birthday. Another wave of nationwide “No Kings” protests came several months later in October.
