A fire incident at the premises of a pharmaceutical company claimed the life of a 35-year-old chemist in Telangana's Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Saturday.
The victim of the accident has been identified as 35-year-old Dhar Pawan. The incident occurred at a facility of VJ Sai Pharma Company in Dothigudem village when chemical drums were being loaded into a reactor.
During the process, a chemical reaction reportedly triggered an explosion in one of the drums. Pawan was caught in the flames and sustained severe burn injuries, which led to his death.
Police and fire department personnel rushed to the spot and took up further investigation.
