Farm law protests: Govt points to record procurement, DBT payments to ally fears

The protesting farmers have reached Jantar Mantar in Delhi to further intensify their agitation against the farm laws.
Logjam in both of the Houses of Parliament continued for the third straight day of the Monsoon Session. On Thursday, Opposition MPs in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha stalled the proceedings demanding repeal of farm laws brought by the Modi government last year. The farmers’ unions held ‘Kisan Sansad’ or a parliament of the farmers at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi against the controversial legislation.More Related News
