Farhan Akhtar pens sweet note for wife Shibani on birthday, says 'I'd fight strongest currents for you'

Farhan Akhtar took to social media to wish his wife Shibani Dandekar on her 42nd birthday. He called her his 'beautiful co-traveller'.

Shibani Dandekar turned 42 on Saturday, August 27. On the occasion, Farhan Akhtar shared an adorable note for wifey dear and called her his 'beautiful co-traveller'. He also mentioned how he would 'fight the strongest currents' for his ladylove. The couple tied the knot on February 29 this year.

Farhan Akhtar shared a picture with the Birthday Girl Shibani Dandekar where the couple can be seen posing on a gondola. Farhan wrote, "Dear life partner, Some days you steer, some days you navigate, some days you get us to put down our oars and take a break, take in the view, just breathe. I’d fight the strongest currents for you as I know you would for us. Happy birthday my beautiful co-traveller. Love you. @shibanidandekarakhtar (sic)."

Farhan's cousin, Farah Khan took to the comments section and wrote, "Happy birthday Shibani...we will celebrate when you are back."

Bipasha Basu also wished Shibani, while Ronit Roy wrote, "Such sweet words @faroutakhtar Happy birthday @shibanidandekarakhtar Lots of love and good wishes, always (sic)."

Farhan and Sibhani dated each other for four years before tying the knot. The couple had an intimate vow-exchange ceremony which was attended by the actors' close friends and family. The wedding guest list included Hrithik Roshan, Farah Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Saqib Saleem, Reha Chakraborty, Amrita Arora, directors Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, and Ashutosh Gowariker among others. They kept the wedding as simple as possible. The guests were dressed in pastels and whites, while the bride and the groom opted for a red corset lehenga and a tux, respectively, for the wedding. On February 21, they registered their wedding and hosted a party for their friends and family at their house in Mumbai.
