Family attacked in Karnataka’s Belagavi over allegations of conversion

A family was attacked in Karnataka by members of a right-wing group over allegations of religious conversion.
Members of a right-wing Hindutva group allegedly assaulted a family, accusing them of converting their neighbours to Christianity in Karnataka’s Belagavi district.
The incident took place on December 29 in Belagavi district’s Mudalagi area. It is alleged that Pastor Akshaykumar Karaganvi was holding prayers at his residence when the members of the right-wing group stormed his house and demanded he stop the prayer session. They accused the family of illegally converting their neighbours and went on to attack them.
