Poll analyst Prasant Kishor has said Congress's Chintan Shivir failed to achieve anything meaningful.
Poll analyst Prashant Kishor has finally shared his view on Congress's three-day Chintan Shivir in Rajasthan's Udaipur and said the session failed to achieve anything meaningful.
He tweeted. "I’ve been repeatedly asked to comment on the outcome of #UdaipurChintanShivir. In my view, it failed to achieve anything meaningful other than prolonging the status-quo and giving some time to the #Congress leadership, at least till the impending electoral rout in Gujarat and HP!"
A three-day brainstorming session was held by the Congress and attended by the Gandhis and senior party leaders, to discuss the strategy for the 2024 assembly polls and the electoral challenges.
The three-day 'Nav Sankalp Chintan Shivir' was held on the backdrop of a string of electoral defeats and dissent in the party, which saw a sharp decline in the last seven years.
The Shivir focused on time-bound party restructuring, finding ways to combat the politics of polarisation and getting battle-ready for upcoming electoral challenges.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
