The BMC has asked Maharashtra government to exempt vaccinated passengers travelling to Mumbai from the negative RT-PCR report rule in place to contain the spread of Covid-19.
Mumbai's civic body, the BMC, has written to the Maharashtra chief secretary over the requirement for a mandatory RT-PCR negative report from those entering the city. This rule must be relaxed for fully vaccinated passengers, said the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in its letter dated July 13. #CoronavirusUpdates13th July, 6:00pm#NaToCorona pic.twitter.com/90Rqcsx8Jg "Domestic passengers who are fully vaccinated may be exempted from carrying a negative test report while arriving in the city of Mumbai," read BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal's letter to Maharashtra chief secretary Sitaram Kunte.More Related News
