Ex-CEO-Jindal Steel, Dinesh Kumar Saraogi Hoists Indian National Flag in Seattle, USA

Ex-CEO Dinesh Kumar Saraogi and family promote Indian culture and values through social service and consultancy work globally.

On February 10, 2025, the ex-CEO of Jindal Steel, Mr. Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, and his wife, Mrs. Sujata Saraogi, received the honor of hoisting the Indian National Flag at Gurukul Bothell in the United States.

Gurukul Bothell is a prestigious institute where children of Indian origin get to learn all about their values and culture alongside education. The institute organizes the Indian flag hoisting program in the institute to help students and their families stay connected with their roots. This year, the Saraogi family took this honorable moment to do this social service and promote cultural awareness among Indians living away from their mother nation.

Mr. Dinesh shared, “It was a proud moment and emotional moment not only for the entire Indian community living abroad but also for my family. Both of my grand-daughters study at Gurukul Bothell. This made everything more special for us, especially both my sons, Shashank and Somansh. The feeling of pride every person of Indian origin shared that day will live with us forever.”

Dinesh Kumar Saraogi’s wife, Mrs. Sujata Saraogi, and their talented sons, Shashank and Somansh, have worked shoulder to shoulder with him. He was impressed by the way Mr. Nirmalya spearheaded groundbreaking success of the conference on Iron Ore, Coal, Ferroalloys, & Refractory held on the 7th and 8th of March 2025 at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Newtown, Kolkata.
