Actor Esha Gupta shared her experience of being unable to leave Abu Dhabi due to travel delays caused by the escalation of the Israel-US-Iran conflict. In a post on social media, she expressed her appreciation for local authorities and her wish to return to India.
Actor Esha Gupta shared a post and updated fans that she has been unable to leave Abu Dhabi due to travel disruptions in the United Arab Emirates amid escalating tensions involving Israel, the US and Iran. Currently stranded in Abu Dhabi, Gupta described the situation as challenging and said she hopes to return to India soon, noting that the prevailing circumstances have made her stay difficult.
Gupta shared her ordeal on her Instagram story and said that being stuck in Abu Dhabi due to the current travel disruptions is not at all a "pleasant situation."
"Incredible job by @uaegov for taking care of every stranded person at the airport, from giving for food to airport transfers to hotel accommodation. How well the situation in #abudhabi is managed shows how powerful the country is as how calmly they are protecting everyone. Special mention to @modgovae Again everyone, I'm sorry it's not a pleasant situation, apology for. NOT taking calls or msgs, just wish to be able to fly back home soon (sic)," Esha wrote.
The actor recognised the way local authorities have handled the unfolding situation. She commended the efforts of officials in Abu Dhabi, noting their approach to managing the disruptions that have arisen since the escalation of the conflict.
Earlier, on Sunday, Esha shared a post reassuring fans about her safety. “To everyone checking in and messaging, I'm sorry for not replying. We are ok, we are safe! Times are scary, very tough. God is there to protect us. We trust the @modgovae is doing the best in protecting and interception (sic),” the Rustom actor wrote.
